Happy Childhood Campaign

The Non-Violence Foundation is dedicated to promoting the cause of child welfare and protecting the rights of children all over the world. As part of this commitment, the foundation celebrates the “Happy Childhood Campaign” every year on June 12th, on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour.

The Happy Childhood Campaign aims to raise awareness about the plight of child labour and to recognize those who have made significant contributions to the cause. Each year, the foundation presents awards to individuals who have worked tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and provide support to child labourers. These individuals have made a positive impact on the lives of countless children and have inspired others to join the movement.

The foundation also recognizes the courage and determination of former child labourers who have turned their lives around and become role models for others. These individuals serve as an inspiration to those who are still struggling and remind us that it is never too late to make a change.

In addition to its award program, the Non-Violence Foundation also works throughout the year as a policy advocate and pressure group, working closely with district administrators to ensure the protection of child labourers and to provide them with the support and resources they need to escape their difficult situations and start a new life.

The theme of the World Day Against Child Labour has been “End child labour in supply chains – It’s everyone’s business!” since 2021, highlighting the importance of collective action in addressing the issue of child labour. The foundation invites all like-minded individuals to join the movement of the Happy Childhood Campaign and to share their experiences and actions taken to promote the happiness of children, especially those who are child labourers.

Together, we can work towards creating a brighter future for all children and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to live a happy and fulfilling childhood.
